Holy cow was I impressed… that this blended family of six children managed to meet me shortly after 8:30a.m. on Labour Day Monday – which is especially impressive given that it was a dark morning and the kids were thus more likely to sleep in a little later than usual. It was overcast and spitting a bit when we started but I felt confident that the weather report of simply ‘overcast’ was correct. Suffice to say it was off by a wee bit (surprise, surprise), as we did have some rain here and there. Fortunately, the kids went with the flow and I managed to finish up with the last child before the rain came down hard and fast. Thanks to the whole gang who made it all possible (after re-scheduling once already due to inclement weather). Judging from the shots I’ve seen thus far, it was well worth it!
