Ahhhh – how nice it was to touch down in Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, and feel that warm Caribbean air touch our bodies. My husband and I took our first sun vacation with our kids since they were born, and I would say we would definitely consider it again next year. Apart from a 24 hour stint with food borne illness for my son, the trip was a success. I highly recommend the Club Med in Punta Cana. The food was great, and the programs and entertainment for the kids was plentiful. My son swam on his own for the first time as well, which was VERY exciting for us all. All in all, a great vacation. Oh… and a big shout out and thank you to Lance, the Architect from Oakville, who took a picture of our family (below) just before we left the resort :-).
