…looks pretty darn relaxing looking at these images. The life of the newborn’s parents, however? Not so relaxing :-). This baby girl was a little angel. She was an all-star from start to finish – and she demonstrated so perfectly in the second image the reason why I like to capture newborns within (or close to) their first 2 weeks of life. Thanks to Mom and Dad for being so chill about our session.

I have seen these kids get bigger, older, and wiser since I first photographed the oldest child several years ago. This session, however, was mostly about the newest addition to their family – a baby brother. Thanks to this wonderful family who have trusted me over the years to capture their exquisite children. It is truly an honour.

Okay… so if you’re looking for images with lollipops here, you won’t find them. I will tell you, however, that a lollipop was used towards the end of this session as a bit of a bribe for the younger lad (a ring pop, actually – and with some success I might add). Yes, it’s true. Bribes are necessary in this profession at the best of times :-). These two brothers were delightful and both did a great job of making it all work. Thanks to Mom for her patience through it all.
